Matriculation
I am, as of about 10am on October 13th, an official member of the University of Oxford (!) Don't I look official? In which my hair elects to disregard tradition and ceremony in favour of being uncooperative. As one would expect, an Oxford matriculation ceremony is full of tradition and quite a lot of Latin. (Needless to say, I loved every minute of it.) What you might not know is that it only takes about 10 minutes. We were welcomed, in both English and Latin, by the Vice Chancellor. There were a few comments. And then it was done. The photoshoot, however, lasted half the afternoon...
